OK, so I know I haven't been updating as much anymore, but I do have a fairly good reason... I have been trying to set up somethign so I can start selling my photographs. After some resarch I ended up going with this site called printroom.com. Anyway, if you are feeling generous or really like my photos or both, the please check out my site (which is new so it will be changing a little bit) at www.printroom.com/pro/evanpike If there is a photo that you are looking for that I do not have up, email me and I will get it up there. Thanks in advance (dad)! :-)

Hong Kong

So after being a tour guide for my sis, Satomi and I went to Hong Kong! I had a really good time but to be honest everything was just ok...except for the food which was AMAZING! But pretty much everything else was average. Take the weather for example... it wasn't cold, wasn't warm, wasn't sunny, wasn't rainy, just cloudy. As you can have come to expect by now tho, I did take a lot of photos! So check out some photos here and then the gallery for some more.

Jenn in Japan: Kimono Class

Well actually it was not a class, but Satomi and her mother, aunt and grandmother all fussed over Jennifer and got her dressed up in a kimono and even cut her hair! Then they gave her the Kimono!! Jenn couldn't believe it! Now she just needs to learn how to wear it by herself!!!

Jenn in Japan: Shiogama

She was here for 6 days so we spent 3 in Tokyo, 2 in Kyoto, and 1 in my home town city Shiogama. Even though there really is nothing to do here and nothing is exciting really, it was nice to show her a piece of my daily life.

Jenn in Japan: Kyoto

It is no secret that Kyoto is my favorite place in Japan. So I couldn't let Jenn come to Japan without taking her there! There was a lot to see but I think she would have been happy if we stayed in the bamboo forrest all day! Well, as good of a writer as I am, I think I will just let the photos speak for themselves!

Jenn's favorite place...
I think this was her 2nd favorite place...

Jenn in Japan: Tokyo

During winter vacation my older sister Jennifer came to visit me in Japan! She was only able to come for 6 days and I was worried that we would not be able to do much bc I thought she would be jet lagged the whole time; however, it was just the opposite! She (amazingly) wasn't jet lagged at all (maybe being super healthy and knowing your body really is a good thing)!!! :-) So instead we did TOO much in such a short time and even though she came the last week of Decemeber, I don't think I am recovered from exhaustion until the second week of January (of course it didnt help that right after she left I went to Hong Kong...more on that later)! Anyway check out some pics from her visit!
